Katarina Živković
It is a joy to introduce myself as an autism specialist and counselor. I was born and raised in Belgrade, and today I live and work in Germany. I am the mother of two wonderful sons – autism and ADHD are part of our family’s everyday life.
Autism is not just a profession for me; it is a matter of the heart. Through my own journey I have learned how much understanding, structure and relief mean to families. That is where I bring together the head (science), the heart (lived experience) and the hand (TTouch, structure, everyday tools): understand instead of correct, regulate instead of discipline.

Everything you feel is okay
Sometimes a parent feels overwhelmed, uncertain or exhausted – and often misunderstood by those around them. These are not weaknesses. They are natural reactions to a demanding path you are walking with so much love.
Overwhelmed and exhausted
So much to do, so little time to breathe. It is okay to admit you are tired – and to ask for support, without any guilt.
When parents have nothing leftUncertain
Questions without quick answers are normal. Together we look for the next small step – at your pace, not anyone else’s.
After the diagnosisOften misunderstood
With me you do not have to prove or justify anything. I take your experience seriously, with respect.
Explaining to othersYou are welcome here — you and your child, exactly as you are.

Three things that rarely come together
Lived experience, professional expertise and a scientific background combined – that is exactly what makes support both close and well-grounded.
Lived experience
Mother of two neurodivergent children (autism and ADHD). I know diagnostic journeys, sensory overwhelm and parents’ worries from my own everyday life – not just from theory.
Professionally grounded
Certified autism specialist and Tellington TTouch for you® practitioner – with a focus on structure, communication, parent support and challenging behavior.
Scientific background
Master’s in biomedicine and bachelor’s in molecular biology. I understand the neurobiological basics, can evaluate studies and therapy claims, and talk with professionals as a peer.
Myths and facts about autism
Myths persist stubbornly – and make life harder for families. I clear up the most common misconceptions, in plain language and with respect.
